Job Title : Technical Writer

Location : Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and maintain clear and concise technical documentation including user guides, manuals, system specifications, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), developers, engineers, and QA teams to gather and verify technical information.
• Translate complex technical concepts into accessible documentation for diverse audiences.
• Create visual aids such as diagrams, flowcharts, and tables to support written materials.
• Maintain version control of documents and ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with documentation standards.
• Edit and revise existing documentation to reflect updates in systems, processes, or standards.
• Organize and manage documentation libraries and knowledge bases.
• Assist with the development of training materials and onboarding documentation.
• Ensure documentation aligns with accessibility, compliance, and security standards as required.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience writing technical documentation for IT systems, software, or engineering processes.
• Proficiency with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Confluence, SharePoint, or MadCap Flare.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and IT terminology.
• Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and explain them clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, XML, or Markdown is a plus.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
