Job Description

• Assemble order and prepare good for shipment
• Create required shipping documents and ensure documents are correct
• Assist with a daily review of scheduled shipments and coordinate with Operations Manager to effectively schedule order shipments
• Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
• Receive and unpack materials and supplies
• Report damage and inventory discrepancies
• Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations
• Document and maintain inventory to ensure stock is organized and clean
• Ensure the safety policies are followed throughout the warehouse

Qualifications

• Successful completed high school diploma or equivalent apprenticeship
• Work experience in a warehouse (shipping and receiving) within a manufacturing company
• Proficiency in the use of RF scanners, copiers and document scanners, personal computers, MS Office products and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP)
• experience with standup forklift usage
• Ability to communication effectively in English, both orally and in writing
