Location: Palo Alto, CA, Onsite -

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and Scrum practices.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Guide the team in breaking down work into user stories, estimating effort, and creating and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-groomed and ready for development.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging effective communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the team on Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the Mobile end to end project execution.
  • Monitor team velocity and work with the team to improve productivity and predictability.
  • Utilize Jira or similar Agile project management tools to manage and track the team's progress, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Leverage your commercial banking knowledge to understand and incorporate relevant domain-specific requirements into the software development process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective delivery of business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Scrum Master
  • Having experience with Jira Align.
  • Good in Stakeholder, communication, financial, resource management and all the management aspects.
  • Experience in executing Mobile (Android/IOS) end to end project execution.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certifications.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile development teams in the delivery of software solutions.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in using Jira or similar Agile project management tools.
  • In-depth understanding of commercial banking processes, systems, and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and practices, such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

The annual salary for this position is between $110k - $140K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
