**The opportunity** Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring full-time and part-time Prep Cooks to join our team at Paseo in Anaheim, California. As a Prep Cook, you will be preparing food items for our established guests, supporting great guest experiences. All team members receive benefits including: + Weekly pay + Employee assistance program + Training and development opportunities + Employee discounts + Flexible work schedules Eligible team members may also receive: health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation days and holidays, paid parental bonding leave, and tuition and/or professional certification reimbursement. **What will you do?** + Retrieve storage items necessary, and measure, portion, and prepare all food items, complying with all quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures + Communicate with the Chef for any special instructions or training + Maintain food, utensils, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner + Performs opening, closing and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines + Follow all safety, security, kitchen, and ServSafe procedures, upholding all health codes and sanitation regulations **More about you** + Prior food preparation experience preferred + Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets + Ability to use kitchen tools safely (knives and small equipment ware) + Ability to follow instructions + No high school diploma or GED required **Physical requirements** + Frequent standing and walking for the entire length of the shift + Manual dexterity is sufficient to chop, mix, blend, and whip a variety of foods and liquids + Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders + Ability to frequently immerse hands in water + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds **Shift details** Day shift Monday to Friday Evening shift Weekends **Who we are** Delaware North's Patina Group is a a leader in food service management, operating some of the busiest and most famous kitchens in the world.
