Job Description

Purpose of Job
The Technical Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality management and technical service functions. They will validate components, configure builds and will identify, resolve, and provide training to mitigate issues within the PC assembly line process.
Job Description
Configure, troubleshoot, isolate, repair, document and resolve all customer desktop hardware and software technical issues.
Completes test activities with robust documentation through standardized validation plans and verification results.
Ensure all products and software comply with government standards through formal verification methods.
Recommend hardware and software improvements to lower RMA rates.
Knowledge of coding and/or scripting to all software are up to date.
To create and provide training materials/procedures for RMA repairs.
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Combination of 2 years of education, training, and experience in a professional, business or equivalent technical field.
Experience with PC assembly in the context of an assembly line operation is required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
Must be a self-directed, fast learner who is effective working independently, yet equally comfortable contributing in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and quality of work.
Excellent written/verbal, time management and quantitative/analytical skills required.
Proven analytical and conceptual skills.

Mental Functions:
Decisions have major implications on the management and operations of an area within a department. Job may contribute to important strategy, operational, and business decisions that affect the department. This position establishes procedures for attaining specific goals.
Physical Functions:
Standard office and computer equipment including MS Office software.100% of work performed will be at an Assembly Warehouse/Testing Lab.
