The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Celebration
- Established in 1997 and now a 203-bed hospital
- AdventHealth Celebration Health was designed as a Mediterranean resort-style facility to serve as a cornerstone of health in Disney’s planned community of Celebration, Florida
- The hospital consistently delivers a state-of-the-art healing environment to residents of Osceola, Orange, Polk and Lake Counties, as well as to visitors from across the United States and the world. All within a 'living laboratory' of groundbreaking, research-driven clinical solutions that integrate mind, body and spirit in the defeat of illness and disease
The role you’ll contribute: The RN is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age specific groups at the Women's Center. Utilizes the nursing process in achieving the goals of the department. Assists the radiologist during breast biopsy procedures and provides care, documentation and follow up for the patient following the procedure. Follows up on all positive mammograms securing the proper Rx from physician and assisting the patient with obtaining further testing. Additional responsibilities include scheduling special procedures, maintaining, accessing and printing patient records assuring privacy following HIPAA guidelines. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

- Performs properly and legibly documents and reports all procedures and assessments in accordance with department policy.
- Obtains or delegates the obtaining of a nursing history. Evaluates for age-appropriate behavior motor skills and physiological norms of the patient. Completes the admission assessment, including pain screening. Completes all follow-up assessments and evaluations. Assesses for signs of abuse or neglect.
- Assesses and interprets diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
- Graduate of a school of nursing
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
