**Operations Associate II**

**Operations Associate II**
Operations Associateis responsible forexecuting daily operations andworkingwith internal groups to design, execute and oversee the North America Plant Breeding's Research and Development efforts.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Maintain accountabilityfor safe andtimelydelivery of quality supply based on production schedules whilemaintainingan efficient operation. Perform duties in a manner that support overall site Key Metrics toincludeSafety; Quality, on-time and in-full delivery, and cost efficiency
+ Organize and execute upon research protocols and operational plans for site's day-to-day priorities.
+ Support the implementation of unique and innovative technology solutions designed to improve research design and operations successthrough the use ofnew tools and methodologies to improve overall plant breeding.
+ Handle the operation of research equipment, note taking, data management with internal IT systems,comply withregulated seed stewardship standards, complete and/orparticipatein safety inspections/training andcomply withall policies and standard operating procedures.
+ Organize and execute day-to-day priorities of the site either independently or as the leader of a small team.
+ Train team members and seasonal employees on standard operating procedures, site and operation safety guidelines, and tool operations.
+ Serve as a point of influencewithin organization, supporting projects/initiatives at hub, working independently, proficientin particular areas, solid network, provide innovative solutions,possessestechnical abilities, plan/direct/coordinate activities of others.
+ Maintainaccountablyfor business unit or project results through leadership and coordination across site strategy, prioritize andmonitorprojects to ensure completion within deadlines and budgets.
+ Contributeto activities within the surrounding community to foster positive community relations and outreach efforts.
+ Ensure visibility and resolution of production pipeline challenges
+ Engage with site leadership to ensure aligned vision foroptimalfuture state and reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables
+ Demonstrate subject matterexpertiseand autonomy in task execution.Proficiencyacross multiple machine platforms, tools, technologies, and workflows. Use initiative;take actionin the absence of direction.

Required qualifications:
+ ValidDriversLicense.In order tobe eligible to drive a company car, your driving record must meet guidelines based on the company's Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers - MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening.
+ Ability to work long hours and rotational shifts, including over-time, weekend and holiday as needed
+ Ability to lift, push, pull up to 60 pounds, work in greenhouse environment and walk on uneven surfaces
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree
Employees can expect to be paid a salary betweenINSERT RANGE.Additionalcompensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).Additionalbenefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
