Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team and help our clients achieve their dream interiors.

Position Overview: As an Interior Designer at Mountain Furniture Co., you will work closely with our customers to provide personalized design consultations, create inspiring interiors, and enhance our in-store experience. Your role will be to translate client visions into beautiful, functional spaces while showcasing our exclusive furniture, lighting, and soft furnishing collections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct design consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and styles.
  • Create custom design plans that incorporate our furniture offerings and align with client budgets.
  • Develop mood boards, color schemes, and space layouts using design software.
  • Collaborate with clients throughout the design process, ensuring their vision is realized.
  • Stay current on design trends, materials, and furniture styles to inform your recommendations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with clients.
  • Assist in visual merchandising of the store to display furniture and design concepts effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
  • Proven experience in interior design, preferably in a retail or boutique setting.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and creativity.
  • Proficient in design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for design, furniture, and creating beautiful spaces.
