Electronic Design Engineer

Location: Onsite – Irvine, CA
Industry: Aerospace & Defense
Compensation: $140,000 – $170,000 (depending on experience)

Technology leader is looking for an Electronic Design Engineer to design and develop hardware that powers real-world aerospace and military systems. In this role, you’ll work on everything from schematics to PCB design to hands-on bring-up and debugging.

You’ll take ownership of projects that directly support airborne electronics, working in a fast-paced environment where engineering decisions matter.

Responsibilities:

• Design custom circuit boards and circuit card assemblies (CCAs)
• Capture schematics, support board layout, and perform prototype bring-up
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop test plans and ensure product reliability
• Contribute to documentation such as BOMs, TRDs, and compliance deliverables

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in electronic hardware or embedded system design
• Proficiency with schematic capture and tools like Altium, OrCAD, or PSpice
• Familiarity with analog, digital, or mixed-signal designs
• Experience with military or industrial electronics is a plus
• Ability to work hands-on in a lab setting and troubleshoot at the board level

This is a full-time, onsite position in Irvine, CA. U.S. Citizenship or Green Card status is required due to the nature of the work.
